POSITION PURPOSE:
To support the planning and coordination of facilities-related projects across MESD sites. This position assists in ensuring facilities are maintained and developed in accordance with applicable safety environmental and construction standards. This position will also monitor and improve environmental elements through inspections of MESD facilities and component districts as assigned. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines and budgets coordinating with internal teams and external vendors and ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations (including EPA OSHA and building codes) to meet the agencys facilities and operational goals.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives direction from the Facility Services Supervisor Chief Operating Officer or Superintendent.Method of performing tasks is usually left to the judgment of the employee with a supervisor givingoccasional instructions advice and directives. Work is reviewed occasionally while in progress andupon completion by the Facility Services Supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors with considerable fieldwork and frequent local
travel. Occasionally must access rooftops crawl in attic spaces and under buildings. Occasional exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to very loud. While conducting fieldwork employee may be exposed to inclement weather conditions or exposure to health and accident hazards. Must respond quickly to correspondence and remain on-call for emergency situations. Moderate level of contact with Agency personnel and even higher level of contact with outside agencies community and contractors.
