Job Description
This is a remote position.
We re seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our clients company. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of managing payroll and experience using at least one of the following platforms: Gusto ADP or QuickBooks Payroll.
If youre detail-oriented deadline-driven and comfortable owning the payroll process from start to finish this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll on a regular schedule (biweekly semi-monthly or monthly)
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local tax regulations
Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
Manage payroll changes including new hires terminations promotions and deductions
Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation time tracking and tax documents
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience
Experience using either Gusto ADP or QuickBooks Payroll (one required)
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
