As our Executive Sous Chef Events youll be the right-hand to our Executive Chef leading the planning and execution of all event menus with precision flair and a sprinkle of Hyde magic. From intimate VIP dinners to grand celebrations for hundreds youll ensure every plate tells a story and every guest leaves impressed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all event-related kitchen operations from menu planning to service delivery.
- Collaborating with the Events Banquets and F&B teams to create innovative seasonal menus tailored to client needs.
- Leading training and inspiring the banquet kitchen team to achieve culinary excellence.
- Ensuring flawless execution and presentation at every service.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety hygiene and cost control.
- Supporting the Executive Chef in operational planning supplier relationships and kitchen administration.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Proven experience in a senior culinary role within hotels events or large-scale banqueting.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple events at once.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- A passion for creativity and presentation matched with a commitment to consistency and quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights weekends and public holidays
