Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support EHS program initiatives policies and practices to drive compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in ergonomic and Lean process improvements and EHS-related projects.
  • Lead and support training initiatives for assemblers operators and technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to employees customers and contractors in all areas of environment health and safety.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA NFPA and ASTM rules and standards.
  • Facilitate EHS meetings and training; coordinate and manage meetings focusing on injury reduction injury prevention activities and continuous improvement.
  • Administer and conduct safety employee engagement activities.
  • Support injury reporting safety concerns communication of best practices and data entry into company systems.
  • Schedule and conduct regular inspections and track closure of identified areas of improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in occupational safety and health or a related field (Or High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in an EHS role)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word Teams and Gensuite.
  • Previous experience with cranes and rigging.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to plan lead organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Demonstrated leadership in process improvement.
  • Ability to learn computer systems quickly.
  • Experience across multiple workstations within assigned production line.
  • Self-starter with high energy and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and identify improvement processes.
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively in a team setting and across functional teams.
  • Customer service-oriented responsive to the needs of internal/external customers.

The base pay range for this position is $77900.00-$116900.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
