Head of Business - Volume Automotive Brands

About the Company

Our client is a well-established and respected name in the automotive retail industry, representing a portfolio of modern volume brands in a high-profile location. With a solid reputation as a stable and forward-thinking employer, they are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business / General Manager to lead one of their flagship sites.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the strategic growth of a multi-brand dealership, overseeing both new and used car operations. As the Head of Business, you will play a key leadership role in driving performance, enhancing customer experience, and fostering a high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a divisional site representing 2-3 modern automotive brands.

  • Drive overall business strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals.

  • Champion customer excellence and ensure an exceptional experience across all touchpoints.

  • Inspire, develop, and empower a team of passionate automotive professionals.

  • Act as a brand ambassador and establish strong relationships within the local community.

  • Maintain full ownership of the site's P&L and ensure commercial effectiveness within a big company environment.

About You

We are looking for a visionary leader who embodies a modern, customer-centric mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

You will be:

  • A proven leader within the volume automotive sector, with a strong track record of inspiring teams and delivering results.

  • Customer-obsessed, hands-on, and dedicated to creating standout customer experiences.

  • Commercially savvy, with entrepreneurial flair and sound financial acumen.

  • Digitally fluent, with a keen understanding of evolving consumer behaviour, technology trends, and social media engagement.

  • An excellent communicator, skilled in influencing and building relationships at all levels.

  • Driven and competitive, with a strong work ethic and a relentless focus on success.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: Up to 70,000

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): 100,000+ (including performance-related bonus)
