Build high-impact solutions for a dynamic data-driven organisation
Were looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join Suncorps Core Data Platforms squad and help deliver critical capabilities using Databricks and modern cloud technologies. This is your opportunity to work on complex enterprise-scale solutions that drive business outcomes across multiple portfolios.
Youll collaborate with technical and business stakeholders designing end-to-end architectural solutions aligned with strategic goals while staying ahead of emerging technologies and best practices.
What youll do
- Define solution architectures across current transitional and future states
- Lead the design and integration of Databricks solutions for Core Data Platforms
- Champion reuse scalability security and compliance in every design
- Provide technical leadership to project teams and ensure architecture alignment
- Mentor architects and analysts while collaborating with vendors and partners
- Contribute to architectural standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Influence IT strategy and technology roadmaps through expert insight
What youll bring
- Proven experience in solution architecture ideally within financial services
- Minimum 5 years in IT with 3 years in architecture or design roles
- Strong knowledge of Databricks cloud platforms data architecture and APIs
- Experience architecting using cloud-based data platforms
- Background in software design agile methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks
- TOGAF certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Excellent communication and consulting skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work across multiple squads balancing business outcomes and technical depth
- Experience with any of the following technologies or environments is highly desirable: AWS DBT Fivetran Redshift cloud hosting cloud infrastructure
