Capgemini America Inc. hasmultiple openings for the position of Programmer/Developer Lead based out ofits Chicago IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at variousunanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: create/modify/testthe code forms and script that allow computer applications to run; perform ordirect revision repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operatingefficiency or adapt to new requirements; conduct trial runs to testapplications/systems/software performance; debug/resolve problems and conductperformance improvement modifications; utilize programming languages/tools/frameworksto conduct IT development work for Capgemini clients and collaborate with teammembers to resolve IT issues related to debugging/validation work; performrequirements gathering/bug fixing/testing/documentation/implementation of softwaresystems; design/analyze/review/re-design programs using workflowcharts/diagrams; and analyze/interpret system architecture/design/coding workof team members to ensure adherence to programming/documentation policies.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelorsdegree or its foreign equivalent In Computer Science Computer ApplicationsInformation Technology Information Systems Business AdministrationEngineering (any) or closely related field plus at least 2 years of experiencein the job offered as Software Engineer Programmer Application DeveloperSystems Analyst or in related IT position. The applicant must also have: anyperiod of experience designing coding testing and implementingcustomizations within the software environment; any period of experiencedeveloping reports workflows and metrics within the software environment; any periodof experience performing application development in a Distributed Deliverymodel; any period of experience conducting build and release work usingcomputer technologies such as Clearcase SVN Perforce Jenkins ClearQuestMultitool or Rational Purify; and any period of experience working withprogramming languages such as Java PL/SQL ABAP J2EE SalesforceMulesoft Tibco Informatica or Datastage.
