West SaharaWhat youll do:
As an AVP Deposit Portfolio Manager youll be responsible at the divisional level for providing support to Relationship Managers by servicing a variety of banking clients and assisting to resolve customer issues. This role will focus on building relationships and completing timely follow up to ensure issues are resolved and customers are ultimately satisfied.- Respond timely to inbound inquiries answers questions and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.
- Applysuperior decision-making techniques pertaining to inquiries approvals requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures.
- Gather information necessary to present a deposit or treasury management opportunity to management for approval; meets with new/potential customers.
- May manage client relationships with a portfolio of clients that are deposit focused.
- Work with RM to service portfolio as needed.
- Work with TM sales onboarding and client service teams to complete client requests.
- Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of existing clients.
- Maintain CRM data base including calls and results on relationships. Makes reports to RMs as required.
- Represent the Bank in various community civic and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Banks image and develop additional business; assists the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the legal banking arena.
- Understand business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; aligns work with strategic goals.
- Exhibit objectivity and openness to others views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit.
What youll need:
- 2 years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
