Job Description

Responsible for maintaining tool inventory and distribution of automotive shop tools.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Maintain security and distribution of tools
  • Provide maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Issue and receive tools from tool crib as requested during classes
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of laboratories
  • Establish and maintain files and record keeping systems

The listed major responsibilities are not construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automotive/diesel hand tools diagnostic equipment and consumables
  • Must be dependable self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds

Other Requirements:

Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks including criminal history check. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.

Working Hours:

Variable morning afternoon or evening shift; up to 20 hours per week.
