About the Company:
This leading retail tech company offers a cloud-based omni retail ERP platform used by over 1200 brands across online offline and distribution channels. Headquartered in India with offices in major cities ISO-certified and SOC-compliant the company is known for innovation strong client service and has won multiple awards for technology and support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations & Reporting
Manage all day-to-day finance functions including accounting budgeting taxation and compliance.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly quarterly and annual).
Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Manage cash flow treasury operations and maintain strong relationships with banks.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with all business units.
Prepare financial forecasts and long-term plans to support strategic decision-making.
Track budget vs. actuals and share variance analysis with clear recommendations to the CEO.
Develop systems for cash flow planning and financial modeling.
3. Analytics & Business Insights
Prepare and share monthly MIS and dashboards with the CEO and Board.
Analyze KPIs across business units and customer segments.
Review ROI on key investments and advise leadership on financial strategies.
4. Strategic Finance & Pricing
Work with sales product and marketing teams to review and optimize pricing models.
Ensure pricing is aligned with costs and market trends to maintain profitability.
Incorporate pricing data into forecasts and budget planning.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with tax laws (TDS GST Income Tax) and regulatory requirements.
Set up strong internal controls to protect company assets and financial data.
Oversee statutory audits and manage secretarial compliance and audit timelines.
6. Team Leadership & Development
Build lead and mentor a capable finance team.
Promote a culture of ownership collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support the professional growth of team members through training and feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance including 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in business finance financial planning & analysis and compliance.
Experience working in a software/SaaS/technology company.
Exposure to IPO process fundraising or operating in a listed company environment.
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance. Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong experience in business finance, financial planning & analysis, and compliance. Experience working in a software/SaaS/technology company.
