Job Description
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Paraprofessional Certification Training that meets NCLB requirements
OR minimum two years of study at institution of higher learning(48 college hours) and/or Associate Degree required.
Experience:Educational Aide experience preferred
Licenses/Other:Eligible for state Paraprofessional Certification or such alternatives as may beacceptable to the district. Documentation of Highly Qualified status.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Assist individual student with written assignments when possible.
- Monitor all student activities and maintain order and discipline
- Notifies appropriate personnel when students are assigned and complete their I.S.S. time.
- Keep administrators informed of any special needs or problems of individual students.
- Other duties as assigned by the principal.
