Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Monitor and assess student progress adjusting instruction as needed to ensure all students meet learning objectives.
- Establish and maintain a positive inclusive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to address any behavioral challenges that may arise.
- Foster a culture of mutual respect and cooperation among students encouraging a safe and supportive learning community..
Qualifications Required:
- B.A./B.S. degree required with a preference for classroom experience.
- Active General Education Teaching License in PA (any specialization of subject areas).
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a General Education Teacher.
