Senior Architect Supported Living & Care Accommodation

Aztrum are delighted to be supporting a well-established and forward-thinking architectural practice in their search for a Senior Architect to join their specialist team based in Slough. This practice has earned a reputation as the partner of choice for over 200 clients across the UK delivering innovative and compassionate design solutions within the supported living and care accommodation sector.
As a Senior Architect the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading projects from concept to completion mentoring junior team members and engaging directly with clients to ensure design excellence and integrity across every scheme.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architect role:
- Lead the design and delivery of supported living and care accommodation projects across the UK
- Collaborate closely with clients consultants and contractors to meet project objectives and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to architectural staff and contribute to internal development
- Ensure adherence to planning building regulations and sector-specific standards
Requirements for this Senior Architect role:
- ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
- Demonstrable experience in the supported living healthcare or care accommodation sectors
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and inclusive design principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software
