Effectors Logistics Execution has an opening for a Traffic Logistics Manager. This position supports Tucson based Traffic Administration based out of the 801 Complex. This traffic Manager team spans all Effectors locations but works as one group toward common goals while being accountable to their own defined responsibilities. This leader can anticipate an opportunity to work functionally across all Logistics disciplines within Effectors Logistics Operations. This position is responsible for leadership of all transportation activities originating from and going into the Tucson Airport location.
This position requires coordination with site leadership Logistics leadership Program Operations Property Organization Production Control as well as DMCA to accomplish cross functional goals. The successful candidate will possess leadership and organizational skills necessary to lead a team through complex problems.
A strong understanding of Raytheons System Application Product (SAP) based business management system (PRISM) and movement system will facilitate the analysis need to support daily decision making and examination of the teams performance. Background with classified and explosive material storage management and handling will support a smooth transition to the role.
What You Will Do
Ownership of the daily operations personnel in the defined area. Evaluate resource allocations in partnership with your leadership team to support priorities across all traffic and pack out responsibilities.
Lead a team of exempt level leaders to deliver accurate on time deliveries to our internal and external customers to include CONUS and OCONUS Government Support.
Support the growth of site and area managers that lead exempt and hourly to include bargaining unit teams toward defined goals.
Define and work within control limits that enable visibility and quick responses to issues as they arise through cross functional mitigation.
Work cross functionally to ensure the accuracy of both the physical and systematic attributes of Inventory movement and compliance.
Support Raytheon wide initiatives within the scope of transportation.
Validate leadership team has routines in place to ensure employees are compliant to all safety security and required training.
Work as the Government Liasson between RMD and DCMA Transportation for compliance procedural changes and updates in accordance with the current MOA.
Basic knowledge of all Defense Transportation Regulations.
Ensure full accuracy and compliance within IATA and 49 CFR Hazardous Regulations.
This is a 1st shift onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
IATA and 49 CFR Certification
Experience utilizing a System Application Product (SAP) in a Warehouse environment may include IM and WM background DGIS (Dangerous Goods Information System) DCMA Etools and ETA RXO and NISS.
Experience leading teams in a transportation environment.
Management experience including employees vendors and customer management

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with strong communication influence management and presentation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with compliance and audit requirements of the US Government the Defense Contract Management Agency the Defense Security Services and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
Experience leading teams to execute processes in service of regulations relative to handling processing and movement of dangerous or sensitive materials including CFR DFARS FAR ITAR DoD and DSS
Experience working with hazardous and classified materials in a DOD or Defense contractor setting
Established networks with Factory Management EH&S Engineering Labor Relations Supply Chain and Quality while developing collaborative relationships that influence across organizational lines.

Tucson AZ: salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
