Position Overview:
Saint Ann Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistant to join our community. This position primarily supports our Pre-Kindergarten classroom and occasionally assists primary and intermediate grades. You will play a key role in fostering a nurturing supportive and faith-filled environment that helps every child believe in themselves achieve academic growth and inspire others.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the PreK teacher with classroom instruction activities and daily routines aligned with our mission
Provide individual and small group support to students encouraging academic and social development
Help maintain a safe respectful and welcoming classroom environment rooted in Gospel values
Support teachers in primary and intermediate grades as needed with instructional and supervisory duties
Prepare materials and help organize the classroom for optimal learning experiences
Communicate regularly with teachers and staff to support student success and well-being
Uphold the schools mission
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children preferably in early childhood or elementary education
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff students and families
Patience flexibility and a passion for nurturing childrens academic and spiritual growth
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in education/child development preferred
Commitment to supporting a Catholic faith-based learning community
