The Pool Bar Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the pool bar outlet. This includes delivering a relaxed yet professional guest experience managing a team of bartenders and servers ensuring consistent beverage and food quality maintaining health and safety standards and achieving financial and operational targets. The Pool Bar Manager plays a vital role in creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests while aligning with brand standards.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pool bar ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Ensure all beverages and light food items are prepared and presented according to brand and quality standards.
Monitor the cleanliness hygiene and safety of the bar seating and surrounding pool area.
Ensure the bar is fully stocked organized and prepared for daily service and special events.
Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and a personalized experience.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
Address and resolve guest complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Monitor guest feedback and preferences to enhance repeat business.
Lead train and supervise bartenders servers and barbacks to ensure high levels of performance.
Create and manage staff schedules based on expected guest volume and events.
Conduct daily briefings to communicate service goals promotions and safety protocols.
Foster a positive team-oriented work environment.
Drive beverage sales through effective upselling and engaging presentation.
Monitor revenue costs and profitability of the outlet.
Manage inventory and control costs by minimizing waste and over-pouring.
Ensure timely ordering and stock rotation of beverages bar tools and supplies.
Enforce compliance with local health safety and licensing regulations.
Ensure all staff follow grooming and uniform standards appropriate for a poolside environment.
Conduct regular checks to ensure the bar complies with operational SOPs and hygiene standards.
Oversee the proper storage labeling and disposal of food and beverage items.
Collaborate with kitchen purchasing and maintenance departments for smooth operations.
Report daily sales guest feedback inventory usage and maintenance issues.
Support planning and execution of poolside events happy hours and promotions.
24 years of experience in a bar or poolside F&B management role preferably in a resort or hotel.
Strong knowledge of bar operations beverage trends and guest service.
Familiarity with POS systems beverage inventory software and basic financial reporting.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to food beverage and poolside service.
Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
