Job Description
Head Start Birth-5 has an opening for a non-exempt full-time Instructional Coach. This position is responsible for providing high-quality practice-based coaching guided reflection and Head Start Birth-5 Education staff training. Facilitate learning and assist with professional development planning for staff both in individual and group settings to strengthen developmentally appropriate strategies empower staff and strengthen the HSB5 program. Participate in classroom observation work with immediate supervisor to assess program needs and plan system improvement strategies. Follow program health and safety standards to maintain a clean safe and healthy environment practice active supervision and promote a culture of safety in the Head Start Birth-5 Center.
A graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Social Family or Human Services or correlated discipline is required; experience in working with adults in a teacher setting preferred.
Must meet Head Start and Indiana Child Care Licensing Regulations including Head Start Standards of Conduct federal and state criminal history requirements sex offender registry checks drug screen physical and complete an annual T.B. test.
