The Information Systems Technology Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Providing technical support to employees and clients ensuring network security and assisting with the compliance and security of the networking infrastructure.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Build and repair desktop computers for users and/or customers as required.
Repair mechanical printers card dispensers and other PC accessories
Load operating systems and assorted office software for end users.
Source build support and train on DVR Kiosk and Computer systems.
Participate in the study development and training of PC based kiosk products.
Ability to integrate two or more applications and have them work simultaneously.
Perform preparation assembly programming testing and quality control of all products.
Collaborate with the Engineering team to perform hardware/software configuration and testing.
Provide technical support to staff and customers.
Adhere to and promotes company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company.
Assist in the Maintenance of network systems the installation of new hardware the modification of existing hardware and related network software and applications.
Provide technical support which includes identifying investigating and resolving employee or end-user problems with computer software and hardware for problems specific to the organizations computer networks and systems.
Arrange services through our Field Technicians or software/hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
Maintain knowledge and competency of evolving technology and trends.
- Assist in the maintenance of IT PCI to align with companywide standards
- Assist in the maintenance and enforcement of companywide information technology standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities:
Analytical logical thinking and critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
An understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
Knowledge of network configurations.
Proficient with or able to quickly become proficient with a range of general and specialized applications software and hardware used within the organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to stay organized prioritize tasks as assigned and multi-task.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent certification required.
2-5 years of related experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting standing and/or bending.
- Must be able to lift at least fifteen (15) pounds.
- May have to work longer than usual hours if there is a network malfunction
