Washington State University Tri-Cities College of Nursing invites applications for caring committed nurses to work as part-time adjunct faculty providing clinical instruction to students in our pre-licensure BSN program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a person who wants to make a significant difference working collaboratively with students faculty and staff within of the College of Nursing as it continues to create both knowledge and community impact across the state of Washington and beyond. This recruitment will be used to establish a pool of applicants for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. The pool is continuously accepting applications to be reviewed throughout the academic year.

Medical Surgical
Pediatrics
Obstetrics
Community Health Nursing
Psychiatric Nursing

This is a non-tenure track position with the opportunity for a 4.5-month appointment depending on availability and need. Successful candidates will be assigned to one of the following departments within the College of Nursing based on specialty and experience unless a specific department preference is provided in the application materials. Please take a few moments to read more about each department:
Adjunct faculty are faculty who may hold positions with employers other than WSU and are appointed temporarily to a WSU faculty position. Adjunct faculty are typically fixed-term providing clinical instruction for traditional semester-long courses for 4.5 months (Fall and Spring Semesters). The adjunct faculty appointment contains no guarantee of continued employment beyond the semester assignment.

This is a part-time fixed-term position. This position works on-site (in-person) at the WSU Tri-Cities Nursing Building in Richland WA.
Salary: The 4.5-month (semester) salary for a College of Nursing adjunct faculty is pro-rated based on course credits and degree preparedness.
Candidates without a doctoral degree: $35708.57 (1.0 FTE)
Candidates with a doctoral degree: $37880.78 (1.0 FTE)

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.
