Description

We are looking for a Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our team and provide excellent service to healthcare providers across Medicaid programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing provider enrollment applications resolving deficiencies and interacting professionally with providers and ancillary staff. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the Austin area and will work in a hybrid capacity. Candidates over 60 miles from the Austin office are eligible to work fully remote.


Responsibilities

  • Handle high volume of incoming calls from healthcare providers.
  • Communicate with providers via phone and email to assist with application deficiencies.
  • Process and complete provider enrollment and file maintenance requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain production quotas and quality standards including a minimum 98% QA score.
  • Research incomplete applications and contact providers for follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve application issues using critical thinking and documented procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive provider and healthcare information.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and recommend process enhancements.
  • Accurately update and maintain system records for all provider interactions.
  • Stay current on Medicaid enrollment policies and industry practices.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet production and quality goals under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with credentialing and healthcare enrollment (minimum 6 months experience).
  • Professionalism discretion and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate multiple systems.
  • Independent organized and able to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex application issues.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or data entry experience.
  • Must be local to Texas and within 60 miles of Austin to be eligible for hybrid work.
  • Candidates over 60 miles from the office may work fully remote.
  • Must be able to work full-time MondaySaturday 6:30am8:00pm (shift assigned by client).
