Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Project Manager
Location: West Allis WI
Compensation: $100000 - $120000 DOE Bonus Eligible Car Allowance Health Benefits PTO 401(k)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager with experience in new construction project management. The ideal candidate will lead HVAC projects ranging from small to large-scale commercial installations up to $3 million or more. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project execution including planning budgeting scheduling and team coordination to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan organize and manage HVAC construction projects from inception to completion.
- Lead project teams including superintendents foremen and technicians.
- Establish project objectives policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with company and contract standards.
- Budgeting & Financials:
- Develop and manage project budgets forecasts and cost estimates.
- Prepare and track financial reports ensuring budget goals are met.
- Monitor project work in progress (WIP) and adjust project execution as needed.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Collaborate with project teams to create project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate material procurement subcontractor activities and job site logistics.
- Lead project meetings with clients subcontractors and internal teams.
- Client Relations & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients addressing project updates concerns and change orders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.
- Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure all work complies with industry codes and company safety policies.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain high project standards and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of HVAC project management experience in new construction.
- Proven track record managing projects up to $3 million or more.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings P&IDs and industry codes.
- Strong leadership problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
