Job Title: Metals Chemist Superalloy Materials (Industry Experience Required)
Location: On-site Full-Time
Role Overview:This is a full-time on-site opportunity supporting the launch and operation of a green field manufacturing facility focused on producing high-performance super the startup phase the Chemist will assist in the installation and commissioning of laboratory equipment. Once operational the role will focus on conducting daily in-process and final product elemental analyses of super alloy materials while ensuring strict adherence to ISO 17025 and Nadcap quality assurance standards. This position will also support the governance documentation and administration of those standards in coordination with Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct elemental composition testing following internal procedures and industry standards for aerospace-grade alloys.
Assist in drafting updating and maintaining laboratory work instructions related to sample preparation analytical methods and equipment use.
Support operational and production teams by ensuring test results meet quality requirements safety protocols and delivery timelines.
Lead by example in fostering a safety-first culture and ensure PPE is used at all times in laboratory settings.
Ensure laboratory activities comply with both internal quality systems and external accreditation requirements.
Promote a respectful collaborative work environment with clear communication and adherence to company policies.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Materials Science or a related engineering/technical discipline.
5 to 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience testing superalloys for aerospace applications (captive or commercial environments).
Deep familiarity with elemental analysis methods including GDMS XRF OES ICP-OES AA C-S combustion and O-N-H gas fusion.
Demonstrated experience supporting Nadcap accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 certification processes.
Solid understanding of lab safety practices and occupational hazard prevention in a metals testing environment.
