Job Description
The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring health safety and environmental compliance in the solar panel manufacturing plant. This includes implementing safety policies monitoring hazards and promoting a culture of safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures .
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
- Train employees on safety practices emergency response and PPE usage.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
- Investigate workplace accidents prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records of safety inspections and audits.
- Liaise with government agencies for HSE compliance and certifications.
- Supervise waste management and pollution control initiatives.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.
- Prepare and present HSE reports to management.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years experience in HSE within manufacturing/industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations .
- Ability to train and motivate employees on safety culture.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in renewable energy or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HSE software and audit tools.
