Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team in support of infrastructure and operations-related this role you will analyze business needs evaluate technical systems and develop effective solutions that align with strategic technology goals. You will be responsible for driving improvements in business processes and supporting cross-functional teams through requirement gathering documentation testing and implementation. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Maintenance of Way (MOW) IT/OT systems UI/UX design and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical and user requirements and establish meaningful KPIs with relevant targets.
- Analyze business processes and technical systems (IT/OT) to assess the impact of changes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Design test and implement solutions that support WPMIs technology strategy.
- Recommend and facilitate the implementation of process and system changes.
- Document existing workflows and develop detailed business analysis deliverables (e.g. business requirements functional specs project plans).
- Manage and prioritize infrastructure-related projects according to business priorities.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate new functionality and system changes.
- Provide training and end-user support during and after implementation phases.
- Monitor deployed solutions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Maintenance of Way (MOW) IT OT UI and customer experience (CX) systems.
- Strong foundational understanding of MOW operations and technical design across IT/OT and UI systems.
- Demonstrated ability to document evaluate and improve complex workflows and technical processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and project documentation standards.
- Experience with testing methodologies and business systems implementation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in engineering business management communications information technology or a related field.
