DIS is currently seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our IT functional area.

Essential Duties

The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for directing all financial management and administrative activities such as budgeting manpower and resource planning and financial reporting. They will perform complex evaluations of existing procedures processes techniques models and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues which would require a report and recommend solutions. Develop work breakdown structures prepare charts tables graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of Unified Communications. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting unified communications applications IP Phones TelePresence and collaboration applications. Provides complex end-user configuration and deletion as well as other third-party products that interface with the unified system.

Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years experience as a customer service manager managing network engineers/help desk technicians.
  • 10 or more years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience/in-depth knowledge of Cisco technology environments
  • Direct management experience managing a team of 5 or more team members
  • ITIL Certification Preferred

  • Frequently required to sit and work at a desk/computer for extended periods of time of up to 8 hours a day.
  • While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee is required to talk and hear.
  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Cognitive

  • Ability to learn new tasks.
  • Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to remember processes.
  • Ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
