Job Description

Customer Service Representative
Pay: $16/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: Pryor Oklahoma
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in interacting with customers to provide information about products input orders and resolve inquiries or complaints. This position requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about parts take or enter orders or obtain details of complaints.
  • Gather customer or product information by reviewing blueprints customer files and other sources to determine customer needs.
  • Inform customers by telephone email or other means of order information such as unit prices shipping dates and anticipated delays.
  • Maintain and update customer orders and files entering all required details into company systems.
  • Record and track customer interactions including inquiries complaints and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with production sales shipping and warehouse personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
  • Compute charges for parts and shipping in accordance with company procedures.
  • Resolve service or billing complaints by performing exchanges refunds or bill adjustments and escalate unresolved issues to the Parts Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 13 years of applicable customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles including needs assessment and satisfaction standards.
  • Proficiency with administrative processes such as recordkeeping order management and clerical tasks.
  • Ability to use spreadsheets email and database software; basic data entry skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to perform effectively as a Customer Service Representative.

  • Sensitivity to others needs and ability to remain composed under stress.
  • Effective self-control and professionalism in handling challenging situations.
