Reporting to the Director of Market Research and Intelligence at Mews and working together with the Market Research Lead the Market Research Analyst will specialize in data collection analysis and reporting to support research on the global hospitality market.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering market intelligence and research at Mews. Mews is a rapidly growing business that needs strong market insights to make decisions at every level of the business. The Market Research Analyst contributes to research projects that capture data and insights that help the business to make decisions.
You will be entrepreneurial highly analytical a team player and only satisfied when your work has a deep meaningful impact. You will have a desire to break new ground and experiment. This role will enable you to do this by offering opportunities to develop and be part of a range of innovative research and intelligence projects.
Your primary focus will be delivering research projects including primary and secondary data collection data analysis write-up and visualization. Where needed you come up with innovative solutions to data problems. Your work will contribute to both internal and external thought-leadership and will help drive commercial success.
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
- Use your strong market research background to work on research projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with members of the commercial technical and leadership teams.
- Able to assess project scope and define timelines plans and roadmap with help of team management.
- Provide input on technical and non-technical issues associated with data collection analysis and visualization.
- Work in cross-organizational teams split across multiple geographies.
- Spearhead adoption of research best practices standards and processes and good practice related to data collection storage sharing modeling analysis visualization and management.

- You are a highly proficient and enterprising market research analyst with 1-3 years working experience.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills you thrive when it comes to identifying problems and coming up with creative solutions.
- You are experienced with primary and secondary research methods including surveys interviews and focus groups. You have a proven track record of working with analytical software.
- You excel in critically interpreting evaluating and consolidating information into written research have a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- You are a flexible professional who thrives in a fast-moving business with ever-changing requirements and quick pivots.
- You are curious about broader economic trends and the impact that this has on hospitality hotels and their services. Knowledge about the global hospitality market key characteristics and market dynamics is a big plus.
