We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Madrid. You will play a crucial role in driving the evolution and enhancement of our technical landscape specifically supporting the origination business.
What you will do:
- Act as Business Analyst for enhancements to existing ETRM system functionality and new implementations.
- Analyze business requests model complex cases and define technical solutions that support our origination business in the main European gas and electricity markets.
- Document user requirements and write clear Business and Functional Specifications for IT developers.
- Ensure consistency between business requirements and technical implementation; apply configuration changes where needed.
- Serve as the main point of contact for departments regarding system functionalities and requirement definition.
- Collaborate on projects and assume technical responsibility within your area.
What you bring & who you are:
- Education in Engineering Computer Science or a similar field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Energy Trading Industry.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional project streams coordinating between business stakeholders and IT teams.
- Strong prioritization and organization skills with a detail-oriented analytical profile.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
