8.00 hours per day (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) - 195 days per year (Monday-Friday)

The Activities-Bookkeeper-Cashier-Inventory Secretaryisresponsible for maintaining individual sport budgets money receiptinginvoicing scheduling for various athletic events and activities concessionstand operations; providing budgetary support to SLC Principals and generalbuilding budget support; receipting posting balancing and reporting of allmoney received from students and student clubs; maintaining student finerecords; maintaining textbook inventory data; maintaining monitoring andreporting of financial and statistical records budgets grants funds andinventories; communicating with and providing customer service to studentsparents staff and/or outside agencies or vendors to meet district needs;preparing and processing a variety of documents invoices orders etc.;processing a variety of district documents; and inputting of data intocomputer.

MinimumQualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of previous secretarial orclerical experience required (K-12 educational system preferred)
  • Experience and/or training withcultural ethnic and language diversity preferred

Essential JobFunctions:

Thislist of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented asnecessary. Depending upon individualassignment the employee may perform all or a combination of several of thefollowing duties:

  • Provide customerservice to students parents staff and community including answer telephonegreet and direct visitors resolve conflict disseminate information etc.
  • Answer incomingcalls on multi-line telephone direct callers as appropriate and take andrefer messages
  • Explain documentsand requirements and answer procedural inquiries
  • Coordinateathletic activities including concessions jamborees invitationalstournaments out-of-town travel etc.
  • Receive receiptpost deposit monies (ASB and General Fund) and report money from variousevents and activities
  • Train studentswith regards to concession stand sales and procedures
  • Operate a varietyof office equipment
  • Perform dataentry word processing spreadsheet and database functions
  • Coordinatebuilding functions and activities with staff and outside agencies/vendors toensure district and/or student needs are met
  • Monitormaintain and retrieve information for budgets funds etc. to meet district State and federal requirements
  • Create andmaintain a variety of files logs and other records/documents (computer andhard copy including confidential files) to ensure accurate up-to-dateinformation is available
  • Prepare andprocess various district documents including travel requests purchase orderscalendars correspondence memos budgets reports etc. to provide informationto district staff students parents and community
  • Prepare andprocess various district documents to meet district state and/or federalregulations
  • Generate reportsand other required information
  • Input variousfinancial data (fiscal and budget) into computer systems to meet districtstate and federal regulations
  • Sort and distributemail (internal and external)
  • Attend assistand/or schedule meetings and training as directed
  • Order suppliesmaterials and repairs as necessary
  • Monitor studentworkers in office area
  • Provide back-upand peak-load coverage for other office staff
  • Maintainconsistent presence at assigned worksite and regular work hours
  • Professionallyinteract with students staff and public
  • Comply with alldistrict policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned
