About the Fellowship:
Launch your career in healthcare technology with our immersive 18-month post-graduate program focused on Information Technology (IT). Through rotational learning youll explore diverse IT functions including Technology Clinical Data & Applications Cybersecurity gaining broad exposure to technology operations product development and digital innovation. This remote position with occasional travel opportunities and an anticipated start date in July 2026 is designed to cultivate future leaders in healthcare technology.
What Youll Do:
- Meaningful Projects: Lead initiatives that support CommonSpirit Healths goals.
- Executive Mentorship: Work closely with executive sponsors to guide your rotations.
- Invest in Your Future: You will be able to customize your professional development through conferences memberships certifications and more through a designated Fellow budget.
- Skill Development: Hone your management decision-making and change management abilities.
- Mentorship & Networking: Build relationships with leaders and peers.
- Hands-On Operations: Gain practical experience in various functional areas.
- Leadership Opportunities: Take on substantive projects to develop your skills.
- Diverse IT Experiences: Gain hands-on experience in payer strategy through:
- Rotational Focus: Experience rotations within three key areas of CSH Information Technology: Technology Clinical Data & Applications and Cybersecurity.
- Tailored Rotations: Rotations are customized to align with your interests and provide valuable exposure to CSH IT operations.
- Project-Based Learning: Contribute to strategic programs through hands-on project work.
- Innovation Opportunities: Participate in the development of cutting-edge AI tools.
- Broad IT Exposure: Gain experience across our infrastructure and end-point tools.
Qualifications
What Youll Need:
- Masters Degree
- Master of Health Administration (MHA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MS MIS)
- Master of Science in Computer Engineering or Science
- Master of Science in Information Technology
- Master of Science in Data Science
- Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence
- Master of Science in Health Informatics
- Master of Science in Cybersecurity
- Or equivalent degree from an accredited graduate program
- Graduation Status: Completion of all on-campus requirements and eligibility to graduate upon fellowship completion
- Experience: Less than 5 years of professional experience.
- Graduation Date: Must have graduated with an applicable Masters Degree between Spring 2023-Spring 2027.
- Passion: A passion for CommonSpirit Healths mission and a commitment to humankindness.
- Commitment: Demonstrate interest in supporting the information technology needs of an integrated healthcare delivery system.
