About Tritton:
Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production. Copper mining is a key part of our future and Tritton is completing a current cutback operation at an existing open pit and soon developing a new open pit mine to compliment and significantly enhance the existing Tritton operations.
Tritton has an exciting and transformative journey underway. As a business we are on the precipice of enormous change and are looking for the right leaders to be part of our future growth.
A key part of this future is hiring an experienced open pit operations professional to lead the development of our Constellation project. This is a significant open pit copper and gold mine within the Tritton tenement that will feed into the existing processing asset. The right leader will be given the rare opportunity to develop and run a greenfield mine leaving a lasting legacy at Tritton and Aeris.
Role Overview:
This is no ordinary opportunity. We are looking for a professional who wants to make an impact in a pivotal leadership position. You will need to have strong hardrock open pit mining background ideally coupled with demonstrable mining development/ operational readiness experience. An effective leader with solid project management skills you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop an effective project plan manage contractors and oversee the operations through to effective production. The role will also hold the statutory NSW Quarry Manager ticket to ensure relevant compliance and the very highest standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Excellent contractor management skills to ensure the safe and on schedule delivery of ore from the Murrawombie Cutback and capping of the legacy Heap Leach Facility
- Hands on leadership and development of a greenfild open pit mining project (Constellation) from operational readiness to execution and continued operations.
- Collaborate with the project study and technical team to ensure effective planning budgeting and strategy.
- Drive safety productivity and regulatory compliance throughout all project activities.
- Work as part of the Tritton SLT to effectively integrate open pit mining within the existing mine plan.
What You Bring
Were looking for a strong and successful leader with demonstrated Open Pit hardrock experience with greenfields capability. You will have an exceptional commitment to safety and focus on continuous improvement.
Additionally you will bring:
- New South Wales Quarry Managers ticket or ability to obtain one
- Proven track record of delivering open pit mining projects
- Sound knowledge of NSW governance/legislative requirements
- A desire to get your hands dirty and see opportunities within challenges
- Enthusiasm commitment and self-direction
