Class Summary



Job Description
The Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff to include prioritizing and assigning work conducting performance evaluations ensuring staff are trained follow policies and procedures; and making hiring termination and disciplinary addition this incumbent will be responsible for developing overseeing and scheduling the daily activities of recreational related programs and facility events.

Essential Duties
  • Coordinating activities with internal and external departments to determining programming needs evaluating program objectives and marketing programs
  • Communicating developing and enforcing policies and procedures in relation to facility user groups
  • Maintaining records forms and reports regarding program objectives evaluation and financial status
  • Involved in public relations including hearing and resolving complaints publicizing programs events and interacts with user groups general public and volunteers
  • Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours weekends and/or holidays.
Grade
The grade for this position is B32(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Parks and Recreation Health and Human Services Senior Services or a related field AND
  • Two years of experience requirement
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
  • Drivers License
