As a Product Engineering Manager NAFTA you will play a pivotal role in driving our engineering strategy and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading directing evaluating and developing professional engineering staff to ensure the quality validity and credibility of the organizations activities.
Creating career development programs for the team and developing medium term planning for growth.
Ensuring the implementation of projects within the organizations scope.
Organizing planning and directing the daily activities of the team including performance management and operations development.
Overseeing the engineering budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources prioritize spending and maintain professional standards.
Developing and maintaining technical expertise within the organization evaluating new technologies and advising on appropriate investments.
Contributing to strategic planning and decision making to align engineering strategy with the organizations long term vision mission and objectives of the organization.
You have a masters degree in a relevant technical field although a bachelors degree may be acceptable if you have significant experience within the industry or general engineering management experience. Your role as an Engineering Manager has included overseeing the research and development process project management team leadership budgeting and ensuring the timely delivery of innovative products or solutions. You are responsible for research planning and implementing new processes into our company overseeing the entire development process of new products within the organization and actively participating from the initial planning phase to implementation or production. You keep track of all costs related to the creation of new products and decide which ideas are worth pursuing. You stay informed on industry trends to ensure the company remains up to date with the most advanced developments.
You possess strong leadership skills excellent project management abilities and a keen eye for innovation. You are proficient in English and possibly other languages which helps in our global operations.
