This is an exciting opportunity to be key team member managingclassification work at the State level.
This human resourceprofessional will manage a Statewide Classification function. Workincludes oversight and approval of statewide critical reclassificationsposition establishments class specs job requirements promotional standardsmaintenance reviews under-fill requests making recommendations onclassification processes and answering classification questions. We aresearching for a manager to oversee special project work from project initiationthrough planning execution monitoring and implementation. Work will includedaily supervision of staff and oversight of the team that is conductingin-depth research and analysis to make recommendations. This work requiresexcellent communication skills as this position must lead meetings with theinternal team as well as agency subject matter experts and HR BusinessPartners. This position utilizes Excel and requires the ability to work inspreadsheets with formulas filtering pivot tables lookup tables andapplication of regression formula.
