Job Description
The Pittsburg State University Department of Mathematics and Physics is accepting applications for part-time temporary Adjunct Lecturers to teach sections of the following courses (in-person or online) for the fall semester.
- CS 200 Computer Programming 1(computer language to be determined)
- CS 250 Computer Programming 2(computer language to be determined)
- CS-400 Mobile Application Development
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach in person and/or online undergraduate sections of Computer Science courses
Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience Time of Hire
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience with online instruction (1 yrs)
- Instructor experience in computer science (1 yrs)
- Knowledge of and the ability to work with a course management system (Canvas)
- Evidence of teaching excellence both in-person and online
