Job Description
- Customer Quotation Specialist will prepare accurate quotes for pricing and builds estimates for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and job costing. Possess strong numerical skills and an analytical mindset. Will create job routings and costing using company system (PBSI and Cost Model Database) to fabricate parts per CTS East or customer drawings.
- Create quotes at agreed margins.
- Use company system to send reports.
- Ensure work is delivered to agreed service level.
- Acquire and maintain information on suppliers ongoing pricing structures.
- Administer orders with special instructions and documentation requirements.
- Expedite project orders and prepare required client reports.
- Communicate with all departments involved in completing quotations.
- Create purchase orders for project related materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR/EAR requirement.
- Formal communication skills and the ability to write and compose formal letters.
- Ability to use the available technological resource to extract information.
- Ability to effectively establish rapport present information and respond to questions from managers and clients.
- Ability to manage and maintain several portfolios for various clients at the same time.
