The Compliance Specialist Housing Authority & Subsidy Program Liaison is responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance and maximizing rent revenue across all affordable housing communities within HTGM. This role plays a critical part in optimizing Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Annual Contributions Contracts (ACC) and other subsidy programs by actively building and managing strong relationships with housing authorities and related agencies.
This individual will serve as a key liaison between HTGM and public housing authorities (PHAs) to increase voucher-based rent approvals secure access to available subsidy funding and negotiate favorable rent structures that support long-term property performance and affordability objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Compliance Specialist duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE)
Associates or Bachelors degree in Public Administration Business Real Estate Urban Planning or a related field preferred.
3 years of experience in affordable housing compliance subsidy program administration or public housing agency liaison work is mandatory.
Deep understanding of HUD regulations Housing Choice Voucher (Section-8) PVB and ACC contract administration
