Compliance Specialist - Compliance Program Standards

What does a successful Compliance Specialist do
A successful Compliance Specialist at Fiserv works within the Compliance Program Standards (CPS) team to manage and support key elements of Fiservs Global Compliance Program. The CPS team provides frameworks processes templates and tools to support common compliance activities such as monitoring and testing risk assessments regulatory rules management policy management compliance training and overall Compliance Program metrics and reporting. This role will initially focus on the Regulatory Rules Management (RRM) program with the potential for expanded responsibilities in other areas as needed.

What you will do:

  • Monitor global regulatory developments for awareness and review of rules that are potentially applicable to Fiserv products and services.
  • Review rule changes in our system of record for potential impact on Fiserv and assign those rule changes out for assessment by the relevant Compliance Officers.
  • Draft policies standards and guidance related to CPS team program areas including the RRM Program.
  • Assist in implementing policies and procedures and support Compliance Officers efforts to align with those standards.
  • Engage directly with Compliance Officers and other departments to gather information clarify RRM issues and promote RRM initiatives.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance reviews of Compliance Officer assessments in RRM for alignment with Program Standards.
  • Assist with projects in other program areas including risk assessments monitoring and testing issue management policy management and compliance training as needed.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 4 years of experience in compliance payments financial services risk management and/or systems administration.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations and their compliance requirements that may impact Fiserv financial institutions and/or the payments and financial services industries.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience reviewing and interpreting federal state and international regulations for potential applicability to Fiserv.
  • Understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems and system administration (e.g. Archer).
  • Familiarity with the payment processing and financial services industries.
  • Experience with technologies and processes.
  • Compliance-related certifications or advanced degree.

  • This role is fully on-site. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.

    Salary Range

    $58700.00 - $100500.00

    These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
