Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The DevOps Senior Manager participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives within cloud development to ensure high-quality performance and user experience. They leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters to shorten the systems delivery lifecycle and provide a continuousdelivery platform.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
Leadership & Supervision
- Strategic leader Directs operational units.
- Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management.
- Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
- Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring onboarding learning & development performance succession planning engagement recognition and inclusion diversity and equity practices.
Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations monitoring and evaluating performance providing meaningful feedback and mentorship.
Responsible for supporting employee career development.
- Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.
Knowledge & Application
- Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
- Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
- Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
- Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
- Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides in corporate development of methods techniques and evaluation criteria for projects programs and people.
- Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Collaboration & Interaction
- Interacts with senior management executives and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
- Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

Qualifications
Education
- Required
- Bachelors degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) lieu of a degree at least 11 years of experience in IT
Knowledge & Experience
- 8 years of experience in IT
- 4 years of experience managing direct reports in application integrations data and event-driven architecture
Preferred
- Experience in integration technologies middleware APIs and web services etc.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and systems preferably in a cloud environment
Experience in Kafka IBM MQ Java Spring Boots etc.
