Job Description
- Lead and manage the IT Support Team deliver outstanding service to the organisation.
- Manage complex faults and issues mentor and develop staff
- Manage Vendor relationships and contracts
About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to join our dynamic team and drive continued excellence in our IT service operations. The IT Support Manager will ensure that the Information Technology delivery meets the requirements of VMCH staff. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk and work closely with our technology leaders and our vendor partners to ensure we can implement processes to streamline the management of issues and improve customer satisfaction ensuring strong customer satisfaction!
You will
- Lead and manage the IT support team including Service Desk Support.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract management
- Oversee the management of a 3rd party call centre.
- Take the lead on complex faults issues and incidents.
- Ensure the operational and strategic management of technology services.
- Collaborate with various departments to support VMCHs mission and strategic goals
About you
You will be an experienced IT Support Manager with great technical skills outstanding problem-solving skills who enjoys improving systems and helping people. You will have excellent communication and time management skills and love developing your teams.
- Proven experience in IT support management with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
