Were looking for a highly motivated and experienced HSE and Quality Program Manager to lead the technical and IT aspects of our global Health Safety and Environment (HSE) software initiatives. This role based in Channelview Texas will be critical in ensuring the successful implementation optimization and ongoing management of our HSE and Quality software platforms across our global operations.   • Hybrid position located in Channelview TX with an expectation of at least three days per week in office.
  • Some travel (<20%) may be required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Global Software Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of our HSE and Quality software applications from selection and implementation to ongoing maintenance upgrades and retirement.
  • Technical & IT Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between HSE and Quality stakeholders and IT departments translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring seamless integration of HSE software with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Lead complex software decisions and integrations defining project scope timelines and resource allocation.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software vendors ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and maximizing the value of our software investments.
  • System Optimization & Support: Identify opportunities to optimize software functionality improve user experience and provide expert-level technical support to global users.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy integrity and security of HSE and Quality data within the software systems enabling robust reporting and analytics.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs and comprehensive documentation for HSE software users globally.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in HSE software recommending and implementing solutions to enhance our HSE programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience focused on the technical and IT management of HSE software packages.
  • Demonstrated strong project management experience including successfully leading the implementation or significant upgrade of one or more enterprise-level safety software solutions (e.g. incident management risk assessment compliance management environmental reporting).
  • Proven ability to manage global software deployments and support diverse user needs across different regions.
  • Excellent understanding of HSE and Quality principles regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the transportation industry is highly desired.
