Were looking for a Frontend Senior Software Engineer to join our Pet Health Engineering team in Boston MA. What Youll Do:
- Architect and develop scalable distributed systems and frontend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers through design reviews code reviews and technical decisions.
- Provide technical leadership across the full SDLCcoding testing deployment and monitoring.
- Champion engineering excellence by advocating best practices in code quality testing and performance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders balancing technical options and trade-offs.
- Troubleshoot production issues participate in on-call rotations and help drive operational excellence.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of software engineering experience building customer-facing applications.
- Strong background in:
- Frontend: React HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript/jQuery
- SQL and relational databases
- Cloud infrastructure (especially AWS: EKS S3) and observability tools like DataDog or Dynatrace
- Experience designing system architecture and leading projects from concept to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communication and a collaborative team-first mindset.
