About the Role:

As our Payroll & Accounts Officer youll play a pivotal role in our Finance Team managing payroll processing accounts receivable and supporting essential finance functions. Youll ensure compliance accuracy and confidentiality contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial systems and processes.

What Youll Do:

  • Manage fortnightly payroll processes ensuring compliance with Fair Work tax and superannuation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records including employee setup leave accruals and terminations.
  • Generate and monitor invoices reconcile accounts and process payments.
  • Assist in financial reconciliations month-end procedures and audit preparations.
  • Ensure meticulous compliance and record-keeping practices.

What Youll Bring:

  • A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • At least 2 years experience in payroll and accounts roles
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience with Employment Hero and Microsoft Business Central (or similar)
