About the role
Child and Family Services Gold Coast provides services to families who have young children aged 08 years with a parenting one stop shop somewhere they can access a range of support and services to improve their childrens health well-being and safety. Services include parenting programs parent and child programs playgroups a variety of in-home support programs volunteer programs as well as other support programs to help meet the communitys needs.
As a part of our Child Development Specialist team you will support children and families to achieve their own goals and milestones. You will develop and facilitate child-centered culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate programs that meet the needs interests and strengths of children (0-8) and families (attending our play programs specialist groups and parenting programs.) You will work alongside our Child and Family Practitioners as well as our partner agencies to undertake assessments identify strengths increase capacity for resilience and promote positive family relationships.
