Summary

We are actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Elite Division as a fractional consultant. In this role you ll serve as a trusted HR partner for one or more of our clients located within the Greater Omaha area and throughout the State of Nebraska with the flexibility to work remotely hybrid or on-site depending on client needs.

This is a contract (1099) position with flexible part-time hours ideal for seasoned professionals who enjoy variety autonomy and the ability to make a real impact across mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as remote and/or on-site HR support for client organizations
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Oversee onboarding offboarding and personnel compliance
  • Advise on HR policies procedures and federal/state employment regulations
  • Support recruiting processes and hiring best practices
  • Partner with client leadership to advise on HR operations and team development
  • Provide guidance on contract negotiations and employee agreements.

HR Consulting Professional Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in consulting or multi-client environments.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification required.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law (Nebraska-specific compliance preferred).
  • Self-motivated organized and capable of working independently.
  • Experience supporting professional services behavioral health or healthcare organizations is preferred.
  • Based in Nebraska with access to reliable internet for remote work and reliable transportation for occasional on-site support if required.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee relations.
