Position: Senior Executive Logistics (Imports & SEZ Operations)
Job Summary:
The Senior Executive Logistics will be responsible for handling end-to-end import logistics operations with a strong focus on SEZ transactions customs compliance freight forwarding coordination and SAP-based documentation. This role ensures timely and efficient import clearances smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders and adherence to SEZ and ISO compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import Coordination:
- Coordinate with freight forwarders customs house agents (CHA) and shipping lines for international shipments.
- Follow up for pick-up arrangements and ensure timely delivery to customers or SEZ units.
- Align with Project Management SCM and CHA teams for seamless logistics execution.
- SEZ Operations:
- Manage SEZ-related transactions including DTA procurement DSPF Temporary Removals and Jobwork processes.
- Liaise with SEZ Customs Authority for timely approvals and compliance.
- Maintain SEZ day-to-day activity logs and generate required reports.
- Customs & Compliance:
- Ensure customs clearance of imports up to final delivery.
- Handle submission of import bills to accounts for payment processing.
- Maintain records for internal and external audits related to import and SEZ activities.
- Implement and follow ISO procedures specific to imports.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate SAP entries related to import shipments and SEZ movements.
- Prepare and present logistics reports as per company or statutory requirements.
- Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and aligned with compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with SEZ and customs authorities to expedite documentation and approvals.
- Collaborate with internal departments for import planning and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5 6 years of hands-on experience in logistics/import operations and SEZ processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP (MM/SD/Logistics modules preferred).
- Familiarity with SEZ regulations customs documentation and ISO procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle audits and manage documentation meticulously.
