Job Title: HR & RECRUITING INTERN
Rate of Pay: $16.50/Hour
Shift: Monday through Friday - variable shifts 15-20 hours/week
Temporary Position September 1st - Mid December depending on needs
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Key Responsibilities:
- Support high-volume winter season recruiting by screening and evaluating candidates
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure all candidates presented to managers meet basic job qualifications
- Assist hiring managers with job postings and updating job descriptions
- Create and maintain a welcoming professional front office environment for resort staff
- Support onboarding tasks including verifying new hire packets processing background checks completing I-9 forms and handling post-onboarding steps
- Help coordinate and prepare for large-scale orientation events
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enrollment in a Human Resources Business or Organizational Behavior program preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
