Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for designing implementing and maintaining our organizations network infrastructure
Essential Functions
-Design plan and implement complex network solutions to meet the organizations connectivity and performance requirements.
-Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls access control lists and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
-Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
-Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
-Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation including network diagrams configuration details and standard operating procedures.
-Oversee capacity planning and scaling.
-Serve as a liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree Computer Science required or Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on designing implementing and managing enterprise-level networks. 5-7 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of network protocols technologies and topologies.
- Experience with major networking vendors hardware and software.
- In-depth understanding of network security concepts and best practices including firewalls and access control.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
