Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist Parts Logistics to join our growing team. You will play a key role in identifying customer needs recommending appropriate solutions and ensuring the timely and efficient ordering of parts. This position requires strong sales acumen and a customer-first mindset. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and be passionate about building client relationships while optimizing performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating parts proposals purchase orders and sales order confirmations 
  • Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships in order to fulfill their needs more effectively
  • Conduct a minimum of 4-6 annual customer and/or project site visits
  • Serve as parts point of contact for customers; execute requests; address and resolve any issues
  • Receive and process customer orders and process accordingly
  • Recommend and facilitate the sale of necessary parts
  • Interact with business partners and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and information
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance.
  • Provide timely accurate and competitive pricing on all prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Maintain accurate purchasing sales and sales quote activity reports
  • Customer on-call duties as required
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes
  • May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties as assigned

Annual compensation: $58000.00 - $63000.00 annually


Qualifications :

Requirements/Skills and Abilities

Required: 

  • Degree AS/BS/BA in Engineering Business or Communications OR Equivalent technical sales or customer support experience
  • 1 years inside sales or customer service experience
  • Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
  • SAP-B1 experience would be helpful but not required
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues quickly
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding all sales activity targets including prospecting calls appointments presentations proposals and closes
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Dedicated team player who can also work independently
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities and work well under pressure with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness
  • Professional positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as per business needs
  • Ability to work rotating weekends as per the on-call schedule

Desired:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: material handling; technical or engineered equipment parts
  • Ability to read technical and electrical drawings to identify parts needed by the customer
