Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel. They provide leadership and support to Room Attendants and Housemen organize daily room assignments inspect rooms and public areas and ensure guest rooms are perfectly maintained. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assign and inspect rooms ensuring cleanliness and readiness. 

  • Monitor room status handle check-outs and priority rooms (VIPs rush rooms). 

  • Maintain inventory and cleanliness of guest areas pantries and corridors. 

  • Manage guest requests complaints and lost & found items professionally. 

  • Coordinate with Front Desk Engineering and other departments. 

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain guest preference databases. 

  • Participate in staff hiring training scheduling and discipline. 

  • Implement deep-cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with safety and grooming standards.


Qualifications :

  • Hotel Pre-opening experience is preferred. 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a luxury (5-star) hotel. 

  • Excellent communication with fluency in Italian and English both spoken and written. 

  • Curious team player caring about colleagues and guests attention to details. 

  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies as well as proper cleaning techniques equipment and chemical usage. 

  • Must be guest-oriented enthusiastic with a vibrant personality. 

  • Must maintain composure at all times and work objectivity in stressful high-pressure situations. 

  • Ability to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a professional manner.
